Board of Directors and Advisors

The FarWest Geoscience Foundation is an interdisciplinary group, who are devoted to geoscience research and education in the western portion of the Americas and internationally. The Foundation also serves as an educational resource and provides talks, field trips, walks, workshops, and publications on various aspects of geoscience. Partnerships with regional, national, and international organizations are a key component of the Foundation, since it was founded in 1990.   Click - Staff Page

Education

Geoscience-related workshops, presentations, field trips, walks, workshops, and publications on various aspects of geoscience are at the core of FWGF. A series of geoscience workshops are being currently developed to cover a wide array of geoscience topics including minerals, metals, gems, earth history, dinosaurs, early mammals, paleobiology, etc. Presentations are given to regional, national and international organizations. Publications have been compiled for field trips in collaboration with a wide variety of geoscience and other NGO organizations.  Click - Education Page
